Waterside development involving the demolition of existing buildings, retention of listed walls, archaeological activities and the construction of new residential and other mixed-use accommodation on the SS Great Britain site.
Clarke Bond have undertaken all Party Wall Act requirements etc, and detailed Condition Survey services in connection this development since 2007, involving buildings and structures comprising of SS Great Britain Great Western Dry Dock Retaining Wall, which is a substantial mid-Victorian Grade II* listed structure and other listed structures and buildings including two storey administration offices, woodshed, boundary/retaining walls and highways. The Condition Surveys were also required as part of a separate Warranty for the Trust in connection with measures to safeguard the dry dock, the ship and their buildings.
